My wife and I enjoyed a hotel experience right at the DXB Airport Terminal 3. We had a relaxing 12-hour stay at the Dubai International Hotel located Concourse B. This was before our flight back to the Philippines.
The Dubai International Hotel is available for transit passengers who are traveling to other destinations and have Dubai as their stopovers. On another note, those who are in Dubai and are flying via Emirates airline, you can check in 24 hours before your departure flight time so long as you are NOT flying to the USA or Canada. (Please do double check this info from your travel agency).
This was our first time arriving at the airport much, much earlier than our departure flight.

Those who are looking for a comfortable rest at the comfort of a luxury hotel need not go out of the airport or find other places inside the terminal, as the Dubai International Hotel is a wonderful place to be in.
Ahlan Meet & Greet
One important tip if you are new to the huge Dubai Airport is that the hotel has an Ahlan Meet & Greet service available where the hotel can escort you from arriving to the plane/airport straight to your hotel room.
Seth was the one who assisted us and we easily breezed past immigration counters and into our room. So if you are new to the huge Dubai Airport Terminal 3, the Ahlan Meet & Greet service is definitely a hassle-free way for you to be redirected to your place of rest.

We checked into a Deluxe Room, is a 32 square-meter space which is quite ample for me and my wife. As a guest, you can choose among the following rooms according to your requirements:
- 5 Royal/Presidential Suites
- 56 Junior Suites
- 61 Executive Rooms
- 27 Superior Deluxe Rooms
- 381 Deluxe Rooms
The room is fitted with flat-screen TVs, a minibar and a sofa seating area. There’s WiFi, an iron and ironing board, and coffee and tea-making facilities. The room is quite complete and something I didn’t expect to get.
The most important thing is that the room is free from noise despite being inside the busy airport. You can surely get a good rest if you stay in Dubai International Hotel.

G Force Gym & Fitness Center and Health Club
We explored the hotel a bit after checking in. We found that they have a dedicated gym and fitness center for those who still want to stay active even while on a layover.
The gym has a decent space with good equipment for cardio and strength training. Just enough space for you to work up a sweat.

Indoor Pool & Health Club
Dubai International Hotel also has an indoor pool and separate health club for men and women. The health club is equipped with a steam, sauna, and Jacuzzi facility. So you can hang out in this area, especially if you want to pamper yourself.
This is something I found quite interesting because I would not expect to have these luxuries inside a busy airport.

Dining at Dubai Airport Terminal 3 Concourse B
We have not dined in any of the hotel’s restaurants. We opted to look for food shops in the terminal. We ended up having our lunch and dinner at the The Daily DXB, Urban Street Food. We had pizza and pasta at st. Mi during lunch and some fried chicken at The Roost.

Check out this video below as a preview of what transpired during our stay at Dubai International Hotel:
I’m really happy that my wife and I got to stay in the hotel before our flight. We got to stroll around the Terminal 3 for a bit and without the need to rush. We also got to freshen up and take a refreshing shower before our 9-hour flight.
It was a memorable staycation even if it lasted less than a day. For transit passengers, this is definitely a place you may consider when you want to get some good rest.
