Summer 2022 will see the debut of the City of London’s eclectic new Lost Property hotel.

A part of the Curio Collection by Hilton, this brand-new property will host guests in space designed to represent the vibrancy of this historic part of London.

A reflection of the area

Developed by Dominvs Group, this forthcoming in addition to the Curio Collection by Hilton portfolio promises stylish accommodation and atmospheric dining and drinking experiences in space that celebrates the City of London’s history.

In this location, Lost Property will place guests within walking distances of landmarks including St Paul’s Cathedral and close to many restaurants, bars, cafes and members clubs.

The hotel’s interiors were designed by Ica and Rani Ahluwalia, founder and creative director of Key interior and Designs, to fuse the grade II listed building’s heritage with modernity while celebrating lost craftsmanship. Shapes echoing St Paul’s Cathedral and the neighborhood streets have been integrated into the design.

Commenting on the upcoming opening, Nader Neishabouri, hotel manager of Lost Property London, said: “We are looking forward to opening Lost Property and celebrating the team’s passion for exceptional food, drink and service.”

“Lost Property will capture the imagination of our guests and the hotel’s location in the heart of historical London, will ensure guests enjoy an unforgettable stay that is full of surprises.”

Rani Ahluwalia, design director of Dominvs Group and founder of Key Interior and Designs said: “Lost Property, St Paul’s will be the 7th Curio by Hilton in London and exemplifies Dominvs Group’s creative vision of unique, lifestyle hotel experiences through carefully curated, one- off design elements and service.”

“Lost Property will serve as a unique addition to the Square Mile and offer guests an inspired, eclectic collection of artwork infusing London’s colorful past whilst preserving and enhancing the Culture Mile’s extraordinary history.”

New social venues

Guests are greeted in a lobby designed to instil curiosity upon arrival with Murano glass pendants, colourful rugs and paneling by Artistic License.

The hotel will be home to 145 uniquely designed rooms and suites, some with cathedral views, across six categories and spanning six floors. The bright modern rooms will feature marble bathrooms and come with an industrial touch paired with red and blue color schemes.

Guests and locals will be able to dine at the hotel’s ground-floor bar and restaurant, Found, offering classic French and British dishes and theatrical cocktails in a space featuring bespoke wallpaper by Timorous Beasties, a Murano chandelier made of individual figurines of extinct birds and a bespoke blue resin bar with Murano glass pendants.

This restaurant and bar will be joined by the property’s premium coffee house, Tattle, designed to provide a venue for people to catch up and congregate over healthy breakfasts, light lunches and snacks using locally sourced, organic produce.

This property promises curiosities around every corner, with the contemporary artwork also representing London’s rich history.
